THEME: Sustainable Fabrication
PROCESS:  Robotic Design + Prototyping
MATERIAL: Discarded Logs
RESULT: Innovative Construction Typology

Research Objectives:

Introducing a way to upcycle discarded logs as a potential construction material.

Implementing the robotic fabrication techniques to produce the non-standard geometry based on generatively programmed toolpath.

Folding the cut logs with subsidiary system using accessible tools in order to minimize the excessive material waste as well as labor.

Contributed to concept development through initial model studies using CNC wood and foam. I was also involved in early scripting tests for toolpaths and collaborated closely with Abram to soak and kerf the final models.
